After graduating from the University of Belgrade Law School, Mr. Djukic moved to the United States, where, in 2010, he landed his first job in one of the most prestigious immigration law firms in Chicago. While working as a paralegal, Miroljub Djukic had an opportunity to help hundreds of immigrants resolve their immigration legal issues.

This experience helped Mr. Djukic to realize it would be natural for him to pursue his legal career in immigration law. Upon graduating from DePaul College of Law in Chicago, Illinois, and passing the New York bar exam, Mr. Djukic opened his practice in Chicago, Illinois, where he applied his knowledge and understanding of the complex immigration law and principles to help his clients.

Kiara Kerkooffs

Kiara is a paralegal at Djukic Law Office with three years of experience in immigration law. Graduating from DePaul University in 2023, she began work as an immigration paralegal. Joining Djukic Law Office in August 2025, she assists the attorney in all stages of case preparation, including drafting filings, organizing supporting evidence, conducting legal research, and communicating with clients throughout their cases.

Born and raised in Illinois with roots in Peru and Mexico, Kiara is bilingual in English and Spanish and is especially passionate about supporting immigrant communities through thoughtful, detail-oriented advocacy.

Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time on creative projects, exploring Chicago restaurants and relaxing with her cat, Noche.

Nallely Sanchez

Nallely is a paralegal at Djukic Law Office with three years of experience in immigration law. She joined the firm in September 2025 and works closely with attorneys and clients alike, assisting with all aspects of case preparation—from drafting filings and organizing evidence to conducting legal research and maintaining consistent client communication.

A Chicago native with proud Mexican roots, Nallely is fluent in both Spanish and English and is deeply passionate about serving immigrant communities with care, precision, and dedication. She earned her Bachelors degree from Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, graduating in 2023.

Outside of the office, Nallely is actively involved in nonprofit organizations on Chicago’s South Side, where she teaches traditional Mexican Ballet Folklórico to children ages 4–18. She takes great pride in educating young people about ancestral history and cultural traditions through art, helping to cultivate confident and engaged future leaders.
